MA Theology & Religious Studies

MA Theology and Religion
The Course Programme Structure Staff Profiles Why YSJ ?

Thank you for taking the time to enquire about MA Theology & Religious Studies at York St John University. This programme has a number of distinct strands, which makes it both flexible and diverse. Our on-campus delivery offers two strands, one focusing on Religion and Public Life and  one focusing on Christian Theology and Ministry. We have a team of people with a wide expertise and a great deal of experience in delivering postgraduate courses in this subject area. Our programme is constantly evolving to meet the challenges of a changing world in which understanding faith communities has never been more important.

We draw on a wide range of students, from mature students to recent graduates, and offer a flexible programme to enable you to access modules over a period of up to four years studying on a particular strand or mixing modules across the programme. We have now made it possible to study at York St John University campus either full or part-time at a cost that is very competitive within the sector.

So whatever your particular reason for wanting to study this subject, I believe that York St John offers an ideal programme of advanced scholarship. If you would like to find out more,  do please contact me or the Theology office at the University. We look forward to welcoming you as one of our postgraduate students.
