Learning Outcomes

At the end of the workshop participants will:

  • Understand the concept of culture through various facets, in order to provide a sound basis on which to explore culturally learned values and beliefs
  • Explore ways in which cross-cultural miscommunication can be managed and minimised
  • Be aware of appropriate strategies and methods that could enhance practices founded on principles of cultural awareness, diversity, and understanding

Pre requisites

Before the course delegates will be asked to complete a pre-course questionnaire about their needs and expectations for the course. This information will help Golnar plan the workshop and take account of any specific issues.
