Yorkshire Accord Mentoring Scheme
The Yorkshire Accord Mentoring Scheme is a cross organisational
mentoring scheme. It aims to provide individuals with personal
and professional development, support and challenge by offering the
opportunity to work on a one-to-one basis with an individual
from a different organisation in a mentoring
relationship.
Who's involved?
Every year York St John University secure 10 places on the
scheme and offer staff the opportunity to apply as either
a a mentee (the person being mentored) or a mentor.
The organisations joining York St John University and
participating in the 2012 scheme will include:
- City of York Council
- Hambleton District Council
- Harrogate Borough Council
- North Yorkshire County Council Adult & Community
Services
- North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service
- North Yorkshire Police
- North Yorkshire & York Primary Health Care Trust
- Ryedale District Council
- Selby District Council
- York College
- Yorkshire Ambulance Service
- Askham Bryan College
- Richmondshire District Council
How do I apply?
The Mentoring Scheme is open to all members of York St
John staff who will benefit from it. Places are limited and
there is a formal application process. Mentors and mentees
are recruited annually between September and November.
The application process for the 2013 has now commenced.
