I am writing to acknowledge
the fantastic work you all do in the Disability and
Counselling services. My time at uni has been made so much
better by the amount of support I have had from everyone,
especially my support workers who have helped
me through several difficult situations. I think that the
staff that have supported me are unsung heros and deserve
recognition. Thank you to everyone involved and keep up the

I would just like to say thank you, to
you and all your colleagues for making the interview such an
enjoyable event. Of course this was made all the more so when I
received the phone call from Caroline offering me a place. I am
really looking forward to joining you in September.
My placement is great thank you ever so
much! You've been really supportive and I can't thank you

I am so thankful for the time you spent
talking to me the other week I feel like a little bit of pressure
has been released at last.
It is very kind of you to offer me your
on-going support; I greatly appreciate that, and all that you have
done, and the kindness. support and care you have shown me over the
past two years. I shall miss you.
Thank you for the info and prompt
response. I actually have to say that in these austere times I'm so
heartened to find out that such a generous level of financial
support is available to care leavers at York St John.
They all do an excellent job, well done
to you all.
Everyone is so friendly and
approachable I feel like I could go to them with any problem at all
and they would do their upmost to help. They were there when I
needed help most. Thanks Student Advice Team.
Out of all the University, the best
advice has come from the student advice team. I feel most
comfortable talking to them and they are all lovely people. These
are the people I talk to when I have a problem. That's why I'd like
to thank them and tell whoever is doing this survey that they are
doing a fantastic job.
The team all seem to have a vast
knowledge of a wide range of subjects. They are always friendly and
professional. However big or small the enquiry, they give full
attention and make sure needs are met. Thank you!

for sorting out all my finance/work related problems prior to my
course starting it was reassuring to know that staff were
approachable and friendly. Also as a part time student who is only
in uni 2 days/week its reassuring to know that there is always a
friendly face on the info desk who can point you in the right
direction - thank you!’
The Student Advice Team was wonderfully
friendly and helpful. I am an international student, so I had a lot
of questions this term, but they helped answer each and every one
quickly and with a smile. Thank you!
Over all an excellent service.
Every member of the team always greets
you with a beaming smile and a very pleasant hello. You feel
welcomed as soon as you approach somebody and there has never been
a time where I have judged or not wanted to approach your desk. You
are able to help out with many enquiries and always give out
relevant information. Thank you very much.
