Dance BA (Hons)

DanceThe interview day for the Dance degree programme consists of a short talk by the tutors about the programme and then an opportunity for the applicants to ask any questions that they may have.

Following on from this is a practical session which consists of:

  • A technique class.
  • A creative workshop.

Applicants are not required to prepare a set piece.  The emphasis of the workshop is on exploring a particular approach to choreography and will assess the applicant’s ability and willingness to actively engage with a given task and their ability to work as part of a team.

Following the practical session there is a short, more formal interview.  This may be conducted as a small group interview depending on the number of interviewees.
