We would prefer it if you did register your interest in attending one of our open days. Once we know you are coming we can send you a programme with information to help you plan your day. It will also speed up the registration process when you arrive in the morning.

First, come to the registration point in De Grey reception. Here we will register your arrival and give you some vital information, including a room booking sheet, refreshment vouchers and welcome pack. We will also be able to provide you with tickets for the 'Introduction to York St John' talk (allocated on a first come first serve basis). Then you should head to the Sports Hall in the Foss building, here you will find information on our degree programmes and support services and a range of staff to answer all your questions.

Representatives from each academic area are available to chat to in Foss Sports Hall together with staff from Accommodation, Admissions, Careers, Student Finance, Student Services, Study Abroad and the Students' Union who will be available from 10.00am-3.00pm to answer all your queries.

|
Campus tours leave approximately every 20 minutes from 10.30am. Led by current students, these tours give you the chance to see the campus, including semi-catered accommodation. Tours last 30-40 minutes. The last tour leaves at approximately 2.15pm. You can also pick up one of our self guided campus tour routes and explore the campus independently.

You are more than welcome to bring guests on the day. However we may have to restrict numbers for some sessions. In those instances we will always give priority to students.

Make sure you pick up refreshment vouchers upon arrival at the registration point in De Grey reception. You can use these for complimentary tea, coffee, juice and biscuits available in the Dining Room in the Holgate building. If you want to purchase something to eat, York St John has catering outlets across the site offering you hot and cold refreshments. You can also wander into York to a range of shops and cafes. Local options are available on Gillygate.

The programme has been designed for you to choose which sessions you would like to attend therefore it is flexible to meet your individual needs. The event formally closes at 3.00pm.

Just speak to staff at the relevant stand who will be more than happy to answer your questions. All stands and information are in the Foss Sports Hall.

The Student Ambassadors who will be leading campus tours are current York St John students and you will be able to speak to them informally and ask them any questions you may have.
|
|
|
Just ask a Student Ambassador, identifiable by their uniform. You can also ask staff at the De Grey reception, Foss reception or at the Help Desk in the Foss Sports Hall.
