By train
Directions from York Station to York St John University
It will take approximately 20 minutes to walk from the
train station to the University. If you get
a taxi, the journey will take five-ten minutes
(depending on traffic)
When you come out of the front of the train station turn left
along Station Road. Keep going straight on, cross over and
continue straight on at the first set of traffic lights and proceed
until you reach the next traffic lights. Turn left and walk
across Lendal Bridge.
At the next traffic lights, turn left again. You will see
the Theatre Royal on your
right and the Art Gallery
on your left. Go straight on at the traffic lights and along
Gillygate. Go straight on at the next traffic lights, along
Clarence Street and the University main entrance is on your
right.
