Suzanne Dickinson

Suzanne Dickinson - Employability Projects Co-ordinator

'Student work experience is vital for our students to be successful in securing a graduate job once they have completed their degree.  My role as part of the team is to manage both the Student and Graduate Internship Programmes and through working with local employers to source some excellent work experience opportunities.  Volunteering is also a good way to gain some valuable work experience and I work with a number of volunteer organisations to offer some interesting and engaging projects.

'Graduate employability is as key driver in the work done by the Career Development Team.  I think students will come to see YSJ Connect as a one-stop-shop where they can access not only paid jobs but other interesting opportunities to enable them to gain employability skills so valued by employers.'
