No Smoking Policy

Lord Mayor's Walk is a Smoke Free Campus. Our no smoking policy is designed to protect and improve the health of people working, studying or visiting York St John and to provide a clean and pleasant campus environment.

 

Safety for Visitors

The University prides itself on being a friendly, welcoming and safe place to visit.

To maintain these high standards all visitors to York St John (including contractors who may be working on our premises) are expected to take reasonable care to ensure their safety and that of others in our community.

 

Security

Our security service is provided by Constant Security Services, one of the UK's largest security providers. A dedicated 24 hour security team are present on campus 365 days a year. We also have a comprehensive CCTV network on all our sites, with cameras strategically positioned on the exterior of the buildings.

There is a member of the Security Team present on University property to assist at all times. Staff and students should make them their first call in the event of accidents, incidents and problems arising out of hours.
