There are a number of deadlines to remember throughout the application cycle.
We've listed some of the most important dates below so that you can make sure you have them in your diary:
|15 January 2018||Most undergraduate applications must be in by this time|
|25 February 2018||UCAS Extra opens|
|03 May 2018||Any applications in before 15 January must have a reply by a university by this date|
|05 July 2018||UCAS Clearing opens|
|16 August 2018||A-Level results day|
The application cycle for 2018, opens at the end of October 2017.
Some courses due to their competitive nature will have dedicated cut-off dates for the submission of applications, therefore before applying please refer to our course pages to identify any specific dates or other application criteria.
Courses can close at short-notice due to over subscription, therefore it is suggested that to avoid disappointment that you apply as soon as possible as applications can only be assessed once received in full, which includes the receipt of all references. As a guideline, we would advise that all fully completed applications should be submitted to us no later than the 31 July 2017. We can still take late applications following this date, however these must have been assessed and any offer conditions met by the start of the academic year.
For students who currently live overseas we recommend referring to our International pages for further advice and guidance during the application process. If you are a non-UK/EEA applicant you will need to check visa entry requirements for studying in the UK, which can be found on the Home Office website. You can also refer to our International pages for key-dates in relation to applying for your Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS) letter and for the application of your Visa.
