If you’re an international student and have your results, it’s an exciting time!

You can apply for your space at York St John University from 5 July 2022, through our Clearing process.

Apply now

There are two ways international students can apply to study with us through Clearing:

If you have applied through UCAS and received results

Contact our team to find out if we can make you an offer. If we can, we will advise you to submit a Clearing application through UCAS. If you are holding an offer from another university, you will need to contact UCAS to release you from that offer.

Please ensure you have your UCAS Personal ID number ready when you contact us.

Call our International team on: 01904 876 487

If you have not applied for a course through UCAS

If you are not already on UCAS, you can apply directly to the university using our direct online application form.

If you would like help in completing the application form, please get in touch with our team and our advisers will be able to guide you through the application process.

Applying through an agent

We work with some wonderful education agents to help support you in your application process.

If you are applying through Clearing from India, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, or Sri Lanka, please be aware that we can only accept applications from a region-specific recruitment agency. You can visit your country page for more information:

If you are applying on UCAS through an agent and you want them to phone us about your Clearing application, you will need to add them as your nominated contact on UCAS. We cannot give them information about you and your situation without your permission.

Entry requirements

We accept a range of international qualifications. Search for your country for advice on what qualifications we consider:

English language requirements

If English is not your first language you must have a recognised English language test or qualification.

Please see our English Language requirements page for a full list of the qualifications we do accept, or check your specific international country page for more information.

If you don’t meet the requirements for entry directly onto our degree courses, you may wish to consider our Foundation Courses, which after completion lead on to one of our bachelor’s degree courses.
