What will I learn?

How often do you find your clients stuck in rumination or worry cycles? Are you stuck with knowing how to help them?

At the root of many mental health issues lies two critical processes:

1. The tendency to overthink, ruminate and worry

together with

2. The tendency to avoid, supress or push away thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

This workshop explores these critical processes and looks at ways to minimise the impact of these internal processes utilising the latest developments within the third wave Cognitive Behavioural Therapies treatment modality.

Who should attend?

IAPT Workers, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, Mental Health Workers, Ccounsellors and Psychotherapists.

What difference will it make to my work?

The course will teach mental health professionals ways to work with clients who worry and ruminate thus helping ameliorate their mental health challenges.

What difference will it make to attendees?

You will learn how to apply these techniques to yourself, thus making you less vulnerable to non-useful thinking habits and behaviours.

What difference will it make to my employer?

This course’s intention is to help clinicians work more efficiently and effectively with these transdiagnostic issues, which are common to the majority of mental health challenges.
