“They’re all over the world; women that move molehills rather than mountains”
Much like David Attenborough shows his viewers the lovingly guarded moments of nature, Any Mother Would does the same, but in a 3 bed semi-detached in a rural cul-de-sac. When the family are all back under one roof anything can happen. Francis Towers is confronted by her son’s guilt, her daughter’s shortcomings, and her husband’s gallant return from the pub. Whether through tears, arguments or drunken reminiscing they all find their way of telling her how much she is loved. An autobiographical celebration of motherhood in its magical ordinariness, exploring themes of family, disability, failing, succeeding, coming out and coming home. Any Mother Would promises to be amusing and heart-warming, sending you back home to tell your own stories.
