About the Artists
Emma is a third year Fine Art undergraduate here at York St John University. Her work explores the relationship between natural and organic forms. Her primary interests are material processes, form, colour and pattern. Using paper as her main material, she applies a combination of techniques including adobe, various printing styles and mark making.
Angela is a York based artist and student here at York St John University. Working in collaboration with trees and charcoal, and now clay, Angela feels the personality and soul of these materials. Her work is guided by nature, alive and mysterious, connecting to the living world. Her practice reflects a deep love of trees, forests and woodlands.
More about Emma and Angela's work and the other artists and makers involved can be found on the York Open Studios website.
