Stratus social group
Stratus is a social group for York St John students who identify on the autistic spectrum, as neurodiverse. Stratus is proud to be student led and designed to help you build your confidence and socialise in a safe, inclusive and friendly environment.
We meet weekly during term time.
Stratus events include:
- Quizzes
- Film nights
- Creative writing
- Fandom
We are always keen to hear what you'd like to do in the sessions so please get in touch with your ideas.
We currently meet on campus. If you'd like to join sessions or be added to the mailing list, please get in touch by emailing: autismsuccesspathway@yorksj.ac.uk.
"Stratus is really fun. It increased my confidence and ability to talk to people."

Stratus stories
Stratus Stories is a continuous writing project which welcomes contributions from students of fiction or non-fiction pieces. We hope to publish these for Autism Awareness events. You are welcome to submit under your name or anonymously. Please send your contributions or questions on further information to us at autismsuccesspathway@yorksj.ac.uk.
"I am looking forward to have my voice heard at the Autism Awareness Event."
