Criteria for 2018-19 Health Education funded places:
Health Education Yorkshire and the Humber fund a number of places on our accredited and non-accredited courses. This includes our postgraduate certificates, stand-alone modules and CPD short courses. Please note that we are unable to provide funded places on all of our courses, but we will clearly state whether funding is available. Where funding is not available, please see the information on course fees below.
Access to SSPRD (formerly known as CPD, LBR or PBE) funded by Health Education Yorkshire and the Humber (HEYH) is available to those who meet the following criteria:
- Is employed by an organisation providing NHS commissioned services, within the Yorkshire & Humber geographical region
- Funding can be accessed by all non-medical staff delivering NHS services.
- Meets the entry criteria of the programme
- Please note: The application must be completed by the individual and be supported by the signature of their line manager and a Workforce Development Lead (where this position has been assigned within your organisation).
Please note that the criteria for funding has changed recently, and the above reflects the new criteria set by Health Education Yorkshire & the Humber.
For modules and postgraduate certificates, you should be able to attend all taught elements of the module (unless by specific prior written request) and be able to undertake the assessed work in the specified time. Failure to undertake or complete the assessed work (having accepted a funded place) may result in you being invoiced for the total cost of the module and HEYH will require notification of non-attendance.
Please note that we are now unable to provide funding for the Research Methods module and the Research Paper Module. If you are interested in completing a full Masters Programme, you may still be able to access funding for the remaining modules (the 2 x specialist modules and Evaluating Evidence & Effecting Change), but would need to self-fund Research Methods (30 credits) and Research Paper (60 credits).
