IMPORTANT - Changes to Childcare Vouchers - April 2018
Last year the Government introduced the Tax-Free Childcare policy (TFC). As a result, our employer Childcare Voucher Scheme (provided by Sodexo) will close to new joiners in April 2018.
If you want to continue to have a choice, then you must be registered in the current childcare voucher scheme prior to April 2018.
There are benefits and disadvantages under both schemes, so it will depend on your own individual circumstances as to whether you will be better off in the current or new scheme. There is further information on the Tax-free Childcare Info Hub (provided by our Childcare Voucher provider, Sodexo).
The Guardian newspaper previously published an article about new childcare vouchers explaining the differences between the schemes in more detail. You can also find out more information in this guide from MoneySavingExpert.com, which includes an illustration of those who may benefit under each scheme.
