All staff and students at the University are given an email account. These pages are designed to help you in using and making the most out of University email. If you need any further assistance in using email, please contact ile@yorksj.ac.uk

For students

Students receive their accounts upon completion of their enrolment. If you are a student your email address is in the format of firstname.lastname@yorksj.ac.uk.

All students are on Office 365 and can access their email along with online versions of Microsoft Applications.

For staff

Staff receive their email account on their first day at work. As a member of staff, your email address is in the format of firstinitial.lastname@yorksj.ac.uk

If you are a member of staff on campus you can take advantage of using Outlook on your desktop PC as this provides great functionality. Your University email is also available on the Outlook Web Application or you can set your email up on your mobile device.

Please note: All staff and student mailboxes are able to send no more than a maximum of 500 emails within a 24 hour period.
