You can study these modules over any time period and upon completion of each one will receive a Cambridge English certificate.  After taking the TKT, you can take other Cambridge English teaching qualifications. These could include ICELT and Delta.

The course is recommended for teachers with an English level of B1 or above, teaching primary, secondary or adult learners.

With a TKT, you can show employers that you:

  • have an understanding of different teaching methods
  • are able to use teaching resources effectively
  • understand how to plan lessons
  • can adapt classroom management techniques to meet the needs of each class
