Course overview

Course aims

This course is designed to improve your English language skills. It combines live lessons and guided self-study tasks. In the live lessons you will take part in regular, interactive, tutor-led communicative activities and get support and advice. You will be given constructive feedback for the guided self-study tasks. You will also have regular tutorials to discuss progress, get advice and ask questions.

As well as skills work, the programme may include theme-based tasks and the opportunity to practise making presentations.

Entry requirements

The General English programme is suitable for students who have studied English for a year or more and are at Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate or Upper Intermediate level (A2 to C1). Business English or examination preparation classes (such as IELTS or Cambridge English examination preparation) are available on request, subject to sufficient demand.

Before joining our course, you can check your English Language level at Cambridge Assessments.
