Charlotte Grayson MSc International Fashion and Luxury Marketing
Having never had an interview before the thought of applying for internships was slightly daunting. However, my Placement Advisor supported me in perfecting my CV and helped secure a number of interviews. I was supported in the lead up to the interviews and even had some mock interviews in preparation. I was thrilled to find out I had secured my first placement as a Fashion Social Media intern!

My course time here at York St John was no less than Fantastic. It was an amazing journey with wonderful people. The best part about the university is its incredible human touch which sets it a class apart from other universities. The course structure is well organized and taught by experts in academics and industry professionals. We get an amazing chance to interact with people who are successful in the industry. It helped me in gaining practical experience and be prepared for the commercial job market. I would recommend my university to help and build a successful career.
Lidia Chencheva MSc International Fashion and Luxury Marketing
I was nervous about looking for an internship within the lifestyle and beauty industry because I had no previous experience in that sector and I had never been to an interview before. I worked with my Placement Advisor who helped me update my CV and also helped me prepare for interviews. I was excited to be offered an opportunity to shadow the director of a cosmetics company!
