Registry (based in Ripon Wing) is responsible for academic and student administration.
Registry works closely with the School Administration Unit, with all academic schools and other departments and directorates. We are based on the second floor of Ripon Wing.

Academic Quality Support:
The Academic Quality Support team (AQS), led by the Deputy Academic Registrar, supports all the work in the University associated with programme and module approval and review, collaborative partner approval, and with the University's quality assurance procedures. AQS also provides support to the University's Academic Board and its committees.

The Data Quality team is responsible for collating and submitting the many statutory data returns upon which, among other things, student and institution funding relies. The team also manages and maintains the data in the university’s student records system (SITS) relating to courses and students’ module choices.

Registry's Student Records team is responsible for the enrolment of students on programmes and modules, and for ensuring that students progress through their undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of study in accordance with the regulations. They help to organise the graduation ceremonies and the production of certificates and transcripts. They also facilitate the suspension, transfer and withdrawals processes in partnership with Schools.

The Student Systems Team provides technical support to colleagues using SITS. We liaise with Tribal regarding continuous development of the system for staff.

Timetabling and Room Bookings:
Timetabling have responsibility for creation of the annual timetables for staff and students. They also oversee ad hoc bookings of teaching space.
