Jihong Guo

As an English-major graduating from a normal university, I have worked as a university lecturer at the School of Foreign Languages and Cultures, Ningxia University in China for 18 years.

In 2011-12, I was an Academic Visitor at the Centre for the Child and Family at Liverpool Hope University, and in 2014-15 I successfully completed a Master’s degree with distinction there.

My research explores ways of evaluating action research in educational contexts. Through critical analysis of different approaches to action research in the UK and in China, I expect to be able to influence the research practice of English language lecturers at my home university.
