Title: 'Attachment, power and control in the primary classroom'
I am focusing my research around the development of empathy in young children with attachment needs in primary schools. I want to look at the changing role of teachers as models for and providers of nurturing care and hope to examine how our current teacher training provision prepares trainee teachers for this dimension of classroom practice.
