I’ve been a teacher, teacher trainer and manager in Spain, the UK, India, Kuwait, Germany and Brazil.  I’ve worked with students, teachers and trainees from over 75 countries.

I’ve spent many years designing, teaching and selling special courses for major multinationals, universities, schools and government departments.  I was a trainer in the outstanding teacher training department at International House Hastings. I was an IELTS examiner for over 15 years and have written three IELTS books, two for my own school and students, and one published by Macmillan.

Teaching

I teach mostly on in-sessional and pre-sessional programmes for International students at YSJ.  This involves working with a wide range of students and colleagues, which I enjoy very much.
