Danielle Paddock

I am currently a postgraduate researcher and a graduate teaching assistant in Psychology at York St John University. Before this, I completed my MSc in the Psychology of Child and Adolescent Development (2018) and my BSc in Psychology (2017), both at York St John University. My main research interests are in developmental, social and cyberpsychology.

My primary research interests are in developmental, social and cyberpsychology. I am particularly interested in how adolescents interact on social media, especially in relation to appearance. My current research aims to explore and examine these online appearance-related interactions in an adolescent sample and how they may be related to a range of body image variables, including self-objectification. I am a mixed-methods researcher using a range of qualitative and quantitative methods within my research.
