Policies and procedures relating to a specific area, such as blood sampling in the Physiology lab, are clearly located within the relevant Specialist Learning Spaces.

Health and safety issues within the School of Health Sciences are raised at the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Committee, which has representatives from both the staff and student body. The committee provides a forum for the debate and agreement of Faculty policy and procedures in relation to the health, safety and wellbeing of staff, students, and visitors.

The Technical team are responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the Specialist Learning Spaces, monitoring equipment in respect of its safety and keeping up to date records of health and safety assessments.
