Behaviour and Discipline
Behaviour
As a student at York St John University we expect you to be mindful of your responsibilities as a member of the university community. We expect students, their representatives and staff to act reasonably and fairly towards each other.
We may decide to restrict access to our service where we consider a person's actions or behaviour are likely to have a negative effect on our staff or our work.
Discipline
The Vice Chancellor is responsible for the maintenance of student discipline, for the suspension or expulsion of students on disciplinary grounds and for implementing decisions of Academic Board to expel students for academic reasons.
These procedures derive from this responsibility and cover matters related to student discipline.
