Staying connected

We're in this together, even though we're apart

Students Union exterior

Thank you to everyone for following governement guidance to stay at home. We know it's not easy and cannot wait to see you on campus again soon.

Your Students’ Union presidents and representatives are working hard to make sure that university life is as enjoyable and fulfilling as it possibly can be. As in any other year, students are encouraged to join clubs and societies, meet (virtually) with like-minded people, become volunteers, and campaign for worthwhile causes.

YSJActive have a range of online activites, resources and campaigns to help you stay active during lockdown.

Student Minds have created Student Space, a webpage offering you help and support around a wide range of topics relating to COVID-19. Check out their friendships and social life advice here. The campaign to end loneliness is also a great initiative, find it here.

There is also help available if you are struggling to cope with difficult circumstances. Get in touch with the University Wellbeing Team who offer online phone/video calls as well as some useful FAQs on their webpages.

Current students can stay connected through our virtual community or Fresher’s page on Facebook.
