Coronavirus (COVID-19) accommodation guidance
We have provided coronavirus guidance for students living in university accommodation.
Your safety is our main priority and we are here to support you.
Our accommodation is open as normal, based on the latest government advice. Your flatmates are your household.
We all need to work together to keep each other safe. We can do this by:
Keeping our accommodation clean
We always deep clean and disinfect your room before you move in so you do not need to worry about it when you get here.
We will all play our part in keeping our accommodation clean. We will clean shared spaces such as entrances, stairwells and laundry rooms. You will need to keep your own room, kitchen and bathroom clean.
Self-isolating when needed
If you or one of your flatmates becomes unwell you will need to follow the latest government advice on self-isolation. You will need to self-isolate together as a household.
To help you we will:
- Give you details of who to contact if you or your household need to self isolate
- Make sure you have the supplies you need for the first 2 to 3 days
- Provide details of food delivery options.
You can also contact the wellbeing team and medical practice for online support.
Checking the latest advice for visitors
You will be allowed visitors to your flat but you will need to follow public health advice. Make sure you check the government website before inviting someone to visit.
