Why you should study your postgraduate degree with us

Continuing your studies with us means you can get straight into your stride. The great teaching and academic support you have already experience will continue, and help you make the most of the opportunities postgraduate study offers.

Working at postgraduate level is a step up from undergraduate study. But it is also a very rewarding and valuable experience, and if you are ready to face this challenge then your academic tutors and our support teams are here to help you make that transition.

Postgraduate study is driven by your own independent research and your chosen specialism within your subject. It is a chance to make your mark and be part of our research community.

Most of our courses offer flexible study, meaning you can work part time alongside your degree. With funding avalailable both from the university and from government loans, postgraduate study is more affordable than ever.

People with a postgraduate qualification will earn an average of £6,000 a year more than those with only an undergraduate degree.

Psychology of Child and Adolescent Development MSc

The challenge increases from undergraduate to postgraduate level, but the lecturers provided a lot of support and opportunity to grow and develop. The small size of the masters cohort allows you to have some fascinating discussions. This course helped me grow in confidence and helped me to believe in myself and my own capabilities. I'm now going on to pursue a PhD.
