At the end of the first year, you can choose to move to any York Business School course (except Accounting and Finance, Business Management with Languages and Business Management with Sport Development).
You can choose to add an industrial placement year to your course to gain experience and industry links and increase your employability. You don’t have to decide on this until the start of your second year.
All of our courses allow you to study abroad for a semester, usually in your second year. You don’t need to apply for this opportunity until after you register in your first year.
If you know that you would like to study Business and you would like to keep your options open, this will be the perfect course for you as we will give you the opportunity to change course or to add placements as you progress. This will allow you to make an informed choice about your course once you have started teaching and have had a taster of studying business.
