Follow in the footsteps of our award-winning students and graduates (including a number of BAFTAs) and come and benefit from more than 50 years of film and television production at York St John. From feature films to television documentaries or online video, this course will give you the skills to create exciting visual media for today’s diverse platforms. You will learn the techniques of filmic storytelling to create maximum impact in this most creative of media. These practical techniques will be firmly rooted in a critical exploration of how they sit within the context of theory and wider industry practice, and you will graduate as a fully reflexive practitioner.

Journalism is one of today’s fastest moving industries, but at its heart lies the unchanging ability to tell a good story.
