Community Counselling was established in 1995 and provides a range of BACP Accredited counselling services to adults in various locations across North Yorkshire including Ryedale, Scarborough, Whitby and Filey.

Elefriends is a supportive online community where you can be yourself. Elefriends is run by Mind. If you're a carer needing support you can contact all of the above as well as Carers Direct and the Princess Royal Trust for Carers, both of whom are able to provide support and advice on any issues affecting you.

Wellspring was established in 2003 and is based in Starbeck, Harrogate, North Yorkshire. They are a christian charity that provide affordable, psychological support to anyone in distress and aim to promote good mental health through education and training.

York Advocacy Group in association with York Mind opened in April 2017 and brings together five specialist advocacy services; General Advocacy, NHS Advocacy, Care Act Advocacy, Mental Health Act Advocacy and Mental Capacity Act Advocacy. It provides advocacy support to people resident in the City of York and
aims to provide a positive experience for people who use these services.
