Mindfulness is a way to help you stand back from your thoughts, to gain some calm and perspective in the otherwise frantic world. Once you have learnt these skills you can then begin to use them in your everyday working practice. This experiential half day workshop will introduce you to the concept of mindfulness and to some of its most common practices, giving you a greater understanding and appreciation of mindfulness and its application to your own life. You will also explore some of the key features and benefits of regular mindfulness practices, as well as the latest neuroscience evidence of its benefits. No prior experience of mindfulness is necessary.
