Moving Minds

Student opportunities

York St John students from drama, dance and occupational therapy have the opportunity to work with the project, either as part of an elective module or on a volunteer basis.

Students dancing with members of the community during Moving Minds session

As a York St John University student, you have the opportunity to develop valuable skills in planning and facilitating dance and creative movement sessions.

The project also supports a student internship and a student-as-researcher post, both of which are paid positions.

Several students who have worked with the project have gone on to develop similar projects following graduation and are now working professionally within the area of arts and health.

Please contact Elaine Harvey at e.harvey@yorksj.ac.uk for more information.
