It has 19,000 students in total, consisting of 14,000 undergraduate students, 3,000 graduate students and 2,000 international students.

The university is the oldest in South Korea and was founded in 1897. Soongsil University provides lifelong education through its founding principle of 'Truth and Service'.

Seoul is the capital city of South Korea and is located close to the west coast of the country. It has a population of 9.76 million.

You will be required to pay into the National Health Insurance of Korea (NHIK), which costs 71,520 KRW per month.

Students have to purchase an Alien Registration Card within 90 days of arrival into South Korea, which costs 30,000 KRW.

Visas

Please make sure you have an up to date passport that expires no earlier than 6 months after you intend to return.

You will be provided with guidance and documentation from the partner university but it will be your responsibility to obtain the correct visa.
