Woosong University was established in 1954 and has a long history of outstanding work in education, teaching and training.

It boasts 3 international schools and has been ranked as an autonomous top tier university. It has around 13,000 students.

Daejeon is South Korea's fifth largest city, with a population of over 1.5 million. Seoul is just 50 minutes away by high speed rail. It is a hub for technology and big businesses, and is surrounded by several mountain ranges.

YSJ students will be studying at the Woosong Campus and not the Solbridge School of Business.

You will be required to pay into the National Health Insurance of Korea (NHIK), which costs 71,520 KRW per month.

Students have to purchase an Alien Registration Card within 90 days of arrival into South Korea, which costs 30,000 KRW.

Visas

Please make sure you have an up to date passport that expires no earlier than 6 months after you intend to return.

You will be provided with guidance and documentation from the partner university but it will be your responsibility to obtain the correct visa.
