Neurodiversity in Higher Education Conference 2
Friday 13 September 2024
We are hosting the second Neurodiversity in Higher Education conference at York St John on Friday 13 September 2024 after a fantastic event at the University of Bristol last year. Find out more about this event on LinkedIn at #NDinHE2
The call for abstracts is now open!
Researchers, practitioners and people with neurodivergent experience are welcome to apply. Abstracts (250 words) are due by 31 May 2024.
This year’s conference will run across three parallel formats, including:
- Auditorium stream – presentation or talks
- Seminar stream – interactive presentations
- Creative stream - performances, workshops or practice research papers
Speakers can choose from the above formats. All speakers will have 20 minutes to present, with time to reflect and transition between speakers. There will also be poster presentations throughout the day.
We welcome abstracts on wide ranging topics. Please help us to create a programme that reflects what is important to you. Suggested themes include unlearning, stigma and compassion, intersectional perspectives, neurodivergence beyond autism and experiences off the university campus.
The conference is being held in the beautiful city of York, at the York St John University campus. We are delivering a hybrid format, and welcome in-person and online presentations.
