Parenthood and Creativity Research Group

The Parenthood and Creativity Research Group is led by Professor Abi Curtis.

The Parenthood and Creativity Research Group is interested in the relationship between practice based arts and humanities, the creative impulse and experiences of early parenthood, maternity and paternity.

Interests include:

  • Parenthood and fine art practice
  • Miscarriage and baby loss
  • Pregnancy and fertility experiences
  • Creativity in young children
