Group accommodation

Overview

Group accommodation is available in our off-campus facilities for bookings of 20 people or more.

Our accommodation sites offer low cost bedrooms in central York from June to August. All bedrooms are arranged into flats, offering budget accommodation with shared communal areas.

We offer continental or hot breakfast options as a chargeable extra.

Technical support

Our Technical support team are on site from 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday working across the campus. We can provide dedicated and out of hours technical support for an additional fee, please contact the Events Team to obtain a quote for your event. This service is subject to availability so please check when making your booking.

Accessibility

All of our spaces are wheelchair accessible. If you have specific accessibility requirements (e.g. hearing loops) then please let us know when making your booking so that we can discuss your needs further.

Parking for guests

York Council’s Union Terrace and Monk Bar pay and display car parks are a short walk from our campus. There is no parking available on campus.

External equipment

We are happy for event organisers to use their own equipment. The Events team must approve any equipment brought onto campus as part of an event. All event organisers must notify the Events team if they plan to use their own equipment.

Signage

Event guests are asked to use the on-campus directional signage to locate their event venue. The Events team can provide temporary A4 signage to direct to specific rooms inside a building.
