Students discussing career options with staff member

Our careers service is called LaunchPad. It is the home of your career, placement and study abroad support.

We are here to help you with your next steps. We'll support you to gain experience and the confidence you need to succeed. Whether you have a career in mind or are still exploring your options, we support you every step of the way.

We provide:

  • 1 to 1 career appointments
  • Employer events
  • LinkedIn and CV sessions
  • Support for professional placements for your course
  • Study abroad and international opportunities
  • Work experience and volunteering opportunities

If you aspire to be your own boss, we can help to get you there. Our Kickstart Programme team run enterprise workshops throughout the year. Hear from guest speakers, get 1 to 1 support, and apply for start-up funding. You can also head over to our Enterprise Centre for a space you can run your business from.

After you graduate

Our careers support is life-long and we'll still be here to help you after you graduate.

You can see some of the ways we continue to support you on our Graduate careers support page.
