I have recently been appointed as Widening Participation Manager.

I have strategic oversight of all the University's widening participation projects and work closely with our coordinators who lead on delivery.

I started working in higher education in 2017, not long after graduating with a degree in Law. I'm passionate about working to address inequality of opportunity and ensuring everyone has an equal chance to access, attend, achieve and succeed in higher education. I hope the work we do helps the participants we work with to make informed decisions about their futures.

Out of work, I'm usually spending time with my young family exploring York and North Yorkshire and as a Scarborian, I'm happiest when at the coast.
