Reverend Jane Speck

I was born in Sheffield and brought up in London. I studied English in Birmingham, Theology in Durham, and in between the two lived and worked on the wee Scottish Isle of Iona.

I spent 13 years as a university chaplain in central London before relocating to York in search of fresh air, stars and people who will chat to you on the bus. I live in York with my husband Paul and our two children. I love reading novels; sustainable fashion; good coffee and any kind of cake. I also enjoy the cinema, theatre and gigs, but usually end up staying in and watching Star Wars.
