Lynsey Walker-Smith

Senior Lecturer and CMDA Course Lead

Qualifications: FHEA, MA, BA (Hons)

With over 20 years experience of the corporate world, I have been able to specialise within the areas of Talent Management and Change Management. I have a MA in Leading Innovation and Change.

My roles have previously enabled me to work up to and including Director level, within a variety of organisations (ranging from SME’s to Global Consultancies). This has enabled me to work with a wide range of clients from both the public and the private sector, considering areas of development throughout all stages of the Employee Lifecycle.

I joined York St John University in 2018, initially as a Guest Lecturer.

I am particularly interested in the following areas of research:

• Employee Engagement and Workforce Performance
• Leadership and Management within the 21st Century
• The efficacy of change management models and their impact on employee engagement.

I am also an active member of the Futures and Foresight Research Group.
