Workshops

We also offer the following workshops:

Application writing

There are 3 key elements to any and all job applications. Once you've got an understanding of these it's much easier to write excellent job applications.

In these sessions you will be taken through how to tailor your application, how to understand what an employer is looking for and how to tell them that you're it. By the end of a session you'll have a strong understanding of how companies recruit and how to write your best applications.

Preparing for psychometrics

Learn what psychometric testing is, and why recruiters use it. Opportunities to learn about maximum ability testing and personality profiling, as well as new developments in the field. We also have resources for practice tests, with an option to book a Careers appointment to discuss your results.

Interview skills

In these sessions we will take you through the different types of interview (competency, strength, face to face, video, phone) and how to be an effective interviewee.

We will explore how you can best identify your skills and experience, and then how to demonstrate it to employers in a compelling way.

Writing your CV and covering letter

Sessions cover all aspects of CV development, including structuring a CV and making a CV original and interesting.
