Other speakers include Abigail Scott Paul from the Joseph Rowntree Foundation and Bianca Robinson of CEO Sleepout. A number of local organisations and charities will be showcasing their work with stalls at the conference.

David Lingwood, conference organiser and York Business School MBA student, says:

“We are delighted to be hosting some industry-leader speakers at this free event open to anyone working in charitable work, social innovation and business in York. The conference and workshops will provide the ideal opportunity for collaboration, sharing and exploring new ideas.

“Last year the conference was very successful and resulted in a number of charities setting up joint projects for the benefit of their service users. We predict this year’s event to be even more successful and extend a warm welcome to all attending.”

The conference takes place on Friday 15 June 2018 from 9.30am-3.00pm at York Business School, De Grey Court, York St. John University.

York St John University’s long history of enabling students from all backgrounds to access higher education is rooted in the principles of fairness and social justice which applies equally to the way the university works alongside local businesses and communities.
