These dates apply to most taught programmes at the University, with some variation for courses such as teacher training, health and some postgraduate courses. Check specific course dates with your School.
2024-25 academic year
These dates apply to all students studying at York or London campus.

*For Postgraduate students on a 12 month programme or those on the second or subsequent year of a multi-year programme that incorporates a year in industry, the summer vacation period is 21 to 27 July 2025.

These dates apply to all students studying at York or London campus.
It is the responsibility of each individual student to check their timetable, and in cases of difficulty, contact Registry as soon as possible by email: exams@yorksj.ac.uk.
