Our partnerships
Partnerships with schools are an essential part of our courses and we work with over 400 schools.
On each year of your course you will complete a placement. Each placement will be between 30 and 55 days in length. You will gain more classroom responsibility as you progress and in your final year you will take the lead in classroom teaching.
You will supplement your assessed placements with a range of shorter experiences in a diverse range of schools, focusing on particular areas of the curriculum. This will extend your experience of different contexts, and of working with a wider range of pupils.
Our facilities
With us, you won't just learn in a classroom. You will learn in specialist spaces set up to simulate primary classrooms. We have rooms for teaching Primary English, mathematics, science, art and design and technology. This gives you hands on experience with using essential primary teaching resources.
