This practical one-day workshop will explore how to use a range of mindfulness skills to reduce your worry and ruminative tendencies.

Everybody worries, but when that worry affects your day-to-day life, it’s a problem that needs effective, evidence-based tools to help manage. Mindfulness is a way to help you stand back from your thoughts and gain some calm and perspective in the otherwise frantic world. This experiential one-day workshop will introduce you to the concept of mindfulness and to ideas and tools that enable effective self-management of worry and rumination.

Who is this course for?

This course is suitable for anyone who finds that worry and rumination negatively impact their day-to-day life. It is also highly beneficial for professionals who work with individuals prone to overthinking and who wish to develop effective strategies to help reduce it.

Matthew Cole

Matthew Cole is a BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and EMDR Consultant with nearly 40 years of professional experience.  


His career encompasses positions within diverse organisations, including the NHS, MoD, mental health charities, and the private sector. Matthew has considerable expertise in treating a broad range of mental health conditions and provides clinical supervision to both NHS and private entities. Additionally, he has published numerous articles, delivered presentations at various conferences, and taught at several universities.
